Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (if you are a consumer) and other relevant laws.
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period for which a remedy may be available can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of return/refund we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to bring the fault to our attention and/or return the product/s to us.
We ask that when making a purchase you please choose carefully as Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies does not accept return of products where you have simply changed your mind, are not happy with a colour or where the purchase was a gift that was unwanted.
Products purchased online can only be returned if they are faulty, and the fault did not arise through any misuse, abnormal use or negligent use of the product.
You can either submit a request through our Resolution Centre
contact Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and type ‘Item Return’ along with any order number or receipt number that you have in the subject line. If Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies can determine that a customer’s purchased goods are damaged or faulty and was through no fault of their own or through wear and tear, they will be entitled to choose one of the following options for a refund:
- A money back refund onto the credit/debit card used to purchase the item
- A credit voucher will be assigned to your account on the Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies Online Store.
Both options would be equal to the amount paid for the item. Both options will be made available to the customer to choose from.
Before the refund is issued to a customer, the customer needs to return the faulty or damaged item back to one of our Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies Store locations with the email showing information about the agreed refund chosen. Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies will then issue customers eligible to receive a refund or credit with the choice that they have made from the above mentioned options. Metro Rags & Cleaning Supplies will cover the postage cost for the replacement, in the case the customer has chosen to receive a replacement.
