These Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to all quotations, orders and purchases of products supplied by Neplusultra Pty Ltd ABN 52 103 651 627 trading as Metro Rags & Supplies (“Metro Rags”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

By placing an order with Metro Rags, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Metro Rags supplies a range of quality recycled textile cleaning rags, spill control products, paper products, gloves and related industrial consumables.

As many of our cleaning rags are manufactured from recycled textiles, natural variations in colour, fabric type, size, weight and appearance may occur between batches. These variations are a normal characteristic of recycled textile products and do not constitute a product fault.

Unless otherwise stated:

• All prices are exclusive of GST.
• Quotations remain valid for 30 days.
• Prices may change without notice.
• Freight charges may apply where free local delivery is not available.

Metro Rags reserves the right to apply minimum order values depending on the delivery location and products ordered.

Our regular local delivery service is generally available on orders of $100 or more within our designated delivery areas.

Orders may be placed by:

• Phone
• Email
• Through our website
• Or directly with a Metro Rags representative.

Customers are responsible for ensuring order details, quantities and delivery information are correct before dispatch.

Metro Rags operates regular delivery runs throughout South East Queensland using our own Metro Rags delivery vehicles.

Current delivery areas include:

• Brisbane
• North Brisbane
• Gold Coast
• Bayside & Redlands
• Ipswich

Delivery schedules may vary depending on your location.

For customers outside our regular delivery areas, Australia-wide freight services are available.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and may vary due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon delivery.

Ownership of goods remains with Metro Rags until payment has been received in full.

If products are damaged during delivery or supplied incorrectly, please notify Metro Rags as soon as reasonably possible.

Due to the nature of recycled textile products, variations in colour, fabric composition, appearance or texture are not considered faults and do not constitute grounds for return.

Returns will be assessed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended application.

Metro Rags is happy to recommend suitable products based on our experience; however, final responsibility for product selection remains with the purchaser.

Approved account customers must pay invoices in accordance with their agreed trading terms.

Metro Rags reserves the right to suspend deliveries or place accounts on hold where payment terms have not been met.

Interest and recovery costs may be applied to overdue accounts where permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metro Rags excludes liability for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from the purchase or use of our products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Metro Rags’ liability is limited, at our option, to:

• replacing the goods supplied; or
• paying the cost of replacing the goods.

Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any guarantees, rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Our own Metro Rags delivery vehicles service the following areas on regular delivery runs:

• Brisbane
• North Brisbane
• Inner South Brisbane
• Gold Coast
• Bayside & Redlands
• Ipswich

Our free local delivery area generally follows the major transport corridors shown on our Delivery Areas map.

If you’re unsure whether your business falls within our regular delivery area, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to assist.

We offer free local delivery on orders over $100 (excluding GST) within our regular delivery areas.

While we do our best to accommodate as many customers as possible, businesses located a significant distance from our regular delivery routes or major highway corridors may not qualify for free delivery. If this applies, we’ll always discuss the available delivery options with you before processing your order.

Thursday (Fortnightly)

• Bayside & Redlands
• Ipswich

Brisbane Metro

• Daily as required

Depending on your business location and the efficiency of our delivery routes, your regular delivery day may vary from the schedule above. For example, some Bayside, Redlands and Ipswich customers may be serviced on alternative delivery runs where it allows us to provide a more efficient and reliable service.

Our team will advise your regular delivery day when your account is established.

Delivery schedules may occasionally change due to public holidays or operational requirements. We’ll always do our best to keep customers informed of any changes.

Customers in our fortnightly delivery areas will be notified of upcoming delivery dates so they can plan ahead and ensure they don’t miss a delivery.

We also supply customers throughout Australia.

Orders outside our regular local delivery areas are dispatched using trusted freight carriers.

Freight charges and delivery times will vary depending on your location, order size and product type.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only.

While we make every effort to deliver on schedule, delays caused by weather, traffic, carrier issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally occur.

If nobody will be available to receive your delivery, please let us know when placing your order where you would like us to safely leave your goods.

To help protect your order, we ask that you nominate a secure, dry location that is sheltered from the weather. If suitable instructions are not provided, we may be unable to leave your delivery.

Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify Metro Rags as soon as reasonably possible if goods have been damaged during transit or supplied incorrectly.

It’s one of our favourite Metro Rags traditions.

Customers receiving free local deliveries on orders over $100 through our regular Metro Rags delivery runs will receive a complimentary packet of Tim Tams with their order.

Unfortunately, we can’t include Tim Tams with third-party freight deliveries—but we hope you’ll enjoy them when you’re on one of our local delivery runs!
